Exploitative Fluff
The actual subject of this podcast is appearances vs. reality, as typified by social media. It’s actually quite shallow and tawdry. There is very little time spent investigating the systems that tragically failed these children- episode 6 is the only substantive one- and much more time relishing in the deception tactics of the murderer on Facebook. Why weren’t members of the children’s birth families interviewed??? Listen if you want a play-by-play of secondhand Facebook debates instead of meaningful investigative journalism.

Thank you for telling the stories of these beautiful kids who were murdered. Great production value and thoughtful.

I read this story on Glamour.com last month and was so fascinated — and horrified — by the Harts’ story. The podcast adds even more details and twists and turns. Definitely subscribe.

Very compelling so far! Most crime podcasts are poorly made with terrible hosts and music but this one is captivating. Can’t wait for the next episode !
