the podcast i’ve always needed
I always find Marco and Benji’s in-depth, as-of-recently-up-to-date, analyses, speculations, and crackpot theories to be so refreshing and a real joy to listen to, especially during otherwise stressful highway driving. Their perspective on some of the more problematic, Ezra-related aspects on the show is a refreshing shift from some of the tumblr blogs and reddit threads I’ve tried to follow, and their film literacy really shines through in a way that makes me enjoy the show itself even more without coming off as exclusionary or pretentious. And don’t get the wrong idea — it’s not like I agree with every (any?) one of their theories. Benji’s an Ali-sympathizer, somehow, and their insistence that two of the liars are just the imaginary friends of the other two is about as likely to be right as my “Ezra is a character styled after Humbert Humbert from Lolita who couldn’t cope with the fact that Ali was really dead and killed Aria on the ski lift before everything stopped making sense, time included, and A is his made-up plot device to make us sympathize with him” theory. But hey, that’s one of the many things that makes the podcast so fun!

Not the average fluff but fun and thoughtful. Good to get a guy's perspective on the insanity that is PLL.Read full review »

I love this podcast! I heard about it on another podcast (Plz Advise) and have been addicted since. The recaps are so entertaining and they have some solid insights and theories. Can’t get enough of it!
