BrotoGP does record when Marc Marquez wins! MotoGP was back at one of my favorite tracks - Catalunya - but Jorge Lorenzo ruined most of the race. Kev lays out how you might be feeling about him losing ground on becoming our antihero. Jorge, you could have been Deadpool! After that, we jump into Fabio Quartararo vs Casey Stoner. I'll say it right now, Fabio is looking better than Stoner right now. We cover their rookie years and talk about LCR vs Petronas SRT. Gotta love that oil...

We start this one off with a topic you might not expect... Jorge Lorenzo. Jorge Lorenzo isn't exactly setting the grid on fire with his performances on the RC213V. It might be considered the best bike in MotoGP, but he simply cannot ride it well enough. But that doesn't mean Jorge is going to be dropped from the team (early). Mugello was the culmination of a life's work for Danilo Petrucci and it showed on his face in parc ferme. A win on your home soil, in front of all those fans,...

There were a trio of Ducati's near the front of Le Mans and two of them are building a massive rivalry for that factory seat - Petrucci and Miller. This race goes to Petrux. But we'll be keeping an eye on both of them, on and off-track. Kev shares an amazing story about pizza. Then we dive into the surprise of Fabio and the disappointment of Mav, building our own rivalry for them. We jump into some cognitive dissonance to make unsurprising wins a little more exciting. Then we finish...

GP made it back to Europe for the Jerez round. Classically, this means the factory teams and the championship contenders start gapping the rest of the field... but that isn't exactly what happened. Marquez still did his thing after HRC convinced him the COTA crash was the bike's fault. But we had plenty of surprises from Quartararo, Morbidelli, and Vinales. And there were a few "1-star reviews" on top of that with disappointments from Jorge, Dovisiozo, and even Rossi. On top of that, KTM...

WorldSBK is at a crossroads right now. Bautista is winning everything (literally) and bringing more eyes to the series. But if he keeps doing it, will they stay? Rea and Kawi may fight back, but that arms race is going to leave other factories behind. Kev has a solution, but its probably not what you think. We spend some time talking about Moto2 talent as well. Tom Luthi is showing he's the true Gatekeeper in Moto2, Schrotter has upgraded to Journeyman, Baldassarri is true talent, and...

MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas gave all the fans plenty of surprises. Rins' talent and Suzuki's development have been confirmed with their first win together, Suzuki's first since Vinales left the team. America fans were able to see Rossi back on the box. And Jack Miller showed us that he can ride the Pramac Ducati in the dry like the best Pramac riders before him - with a few extra f-bombs. But that's not all. Marquez may have showed us that if he doesn't practice crashing (in...

There are two GP riders that have figured out Qatar: Marquez and Dovizioso. But one of them has the most patience and the best drive. The race was phenomenal for all the tactics and the battles between a large group with some unexpected riders. We expected the group, but who knew that Rins, Cal, and Mir would be there, everything considered. Rossi and Jorge's performances are applauded as well, though maybe for different reasons than you might think. Of course, that wasn't the biggest...

Its official - Ducati has built an almost-GP bike for racing in WSBK and its amazing already. Alvaro Bautista trounced the field at Phillip Island, winning all three races. The only thing he did "bad" was his Superpole lap. But what does this mean for WorldSBK? We are going to love seeing someone else have a real shot at the title against Rea and Kawasaki. What about Davies, Rinaldi, and Laverty? What about next year? What about all the private teams? What about selling homologation...

Don't forget - we talkin' bout practice. So let's have some fun with this one. Aleix Trabat would like to welcome you to our newest segment - Broto Jeopardy. This first one keeps it light, but someone dominates the board. Winter seems to be going well for the top 4 Ducati riders, especially Pecco. Kev has found new hope that there will be some new excitement in the GP class. After that, we discuss the wounded racers riding for HRC. So far its 2-1 that Cal will get the short end of the...

'Torque' is the best motorcycle movie out. A blockbuster from 2004, it has everything you could want in a motorcycle movie - the lifestyle, the care-free attitude, the bikes, the Road Rash fighting, the drugs, the wheelie battles... wait wut? Ok, racing hasn't kicked off yet for 2019. But some fans have missed us. So here's more BrotoGP poetry about why 'Torque' is the best motorcycle movie... or maybe the worst. You decide.

Dani Pedrosa is a MotoGP Legend. He might be lacking a premier class championship, but he's still one of the most successful racers of all time. Of course, his induction into the MotoGP Legends has stirred up some controversy. Kev isn't having this. So here's his thesis on why you might be wrong about Dani's Legend status. #danipedrosa26 #motogplegend #brotogp

Valencia was WET and our expectations were thrown out the window. All three races were crash-filled sufferfests, but that really helped a few performances to stand out. We start off with Suzuki, Rins, and their new found consistency on the podium. Then we move onto KTM, their investment, and the results they've achieved so far in all classes. Then we get into the bad. Will Marquez's shoulder injuries end his career? And if so, will it be quick or slow? Lastly, we finish off with a few...

You can probably already guess that BrotoGP is a little bit sad over Rossi's crash. We were robbed of a good finish to all the tension that had been building over the race. So this episode goes a little different than normal. We start with a quick race recap. But then things get more philosophical. Nostalgia and how its affecting motorcycle racing as a whole is the big topic here. I was disappointed that Rossi crashed, but also not as surprised as I should have been. I'm also not...

Crashes at Phillip Island had a huge impact on the weekend and the race. But before we get there, Kevin has a great idea for the 2019 MotoGP calendar. We go way off topic for a bit talking about championship excitement. Then we get to all those crashes. Dani was so sad, Cal got hurt, and thankfully Marquez and Zarco's crash wasn't worse. Because all those riders were out, Yamaha got a gift in the race - or did they? Then we jump over to something we've never discussed before - Alvaro...

A MotoGP title decider has never before left such a sour taste in our mouths. Dovi went down, further adding to the mistakes that allowed Marquez to seal the deal so soon. But we don't spend much time on that. Instead, Kev gets to rant about Marquez's insincere title and win celebration. We ain't that mad about the 8-bit thing. We mad about everything else. Aside from that, Rob gets to talk about rules concerning Lorenzo's replacement and Fabio's disqualification. We again talk about...

Valentino Rossi managed to double Yamaha's number of laps led in Thailand. Isn't that... sad? Our expectations for the Yamaha factory team have always been higher. So its not surprising that we are a bit disappointed that's the only notable thing they've been able to accomplish lately. We cover that for a bit, even through some technical difficulties. Our other main story is how Michelin and the Thailand heat and track layout affected the racing. All the riders struggled with rear tire...

Since we failed at recording last week, we've got twice as much to cover with Aragon MotoGP AND Magny-Cours WSBK. We cover the highlights, namely Iannone with Suzuki and Ana Carrasco in WSS300. But of course there was a bunch of other drama: Jorge whining about Marquez and their make-up phone call, Yamaha's irrelevance in GP, Aleix Esparagaro's performance on the Aprilia, and a bunch of other random things. Then we finish off with a few listener questions.

Off-track action overshadowed what turned out to be some average races this weekend at Misano. Marquez tried to shake Rossi's hand. Romano Fenati went WAY TOO FAR and is now completely ousted from the paddock. And Dani Pedrosa might be signing to test ride for KTM. But wait, there was actually a race too. Yama-who showed us once again that they don't have a handle on the tires, electronics, or anything needed to win in GP anymore. Jorge made a somewhat rare mistake. And Dovi rode a...

MotoAmerica's Kyle Wyman sits down with BrotoGP for a big heart-to-heart interview. We've all seen him race and on social media, but do we really know who he is as a racer, a team owner, or as a person? First we talk about the upcoming race in New Jersey and why its previously been a great round for him. We jump back to the last round at PittRace and figure out what changed. Rob get's to talk tires a bit as Kyle describes the difficulties with some mid-season changes from Dunlop. Then...

Famous - or perhaps infamous - few design illicit the response that those of Pierre Terblanche do. On this episode we delve further than ever before as we analyze the motorcycles of the controversial South African designer. Just how much do our reactions to Pierre’s machines reflect our own worldview? Find out on BrotoGP After Dark.

There's no race to talk about because MotoGP cancelled the Silverstone Grand Prix due to unsafe track conditions. The whole weekend was a huge debacle that left everyone very unhappy and one rider seriously injured. BrotoGP isn't going to leave all our fans hanging. So here's our take on all the events of the failed GP weekend in the UK. Stick around until the end for 'BrotoGP Awards'.

Last weekend, we were surprised when Jorge Lorenzo rode like someone else. This weekend in Austria, he proved the New Jorge is here to stay - and he can win. Marc Marquez showed us again that he can tranform from WinOrBin to WinOrPodium. Dovi put up a fight, but one bigger mistake took him out of the running and now Ev is worried about him. Yamaha is still down in the dumps. And Scott Redding blew up in all the right ways. BrotoGP was also at Sonoma Raceway this past weekend for...

I'm not even sure Jorge Lorenzo expected his performance at Brno. Maybe he felt that result coming, but there's no way he knew that everything about his race would be very anti-Jorge. I clapped and he deserved it. Is he finally embracing the villain role - I doubt it, but we can hope. Dovi, Jorge, and Ducati put together an amazing weekend at a bogey track. Marquez showed new levels of maturity in his 100th race in the premier class. And Yamaha faltered ever so slightly... again with...

We haven't found the time this season to talk about Moto2 and Moto3 - until now! Here's all the Moto2 talk you could ever want and a good chunk about Moto3 as well. There are many many sidebars about the talent progression through the GP classes, VR46 and their input into the development of riders, and how silly season is impacting our excitement for each class. And of course, we finish this one off with a few listener questions from social media. Kev even makes a drunk GOAT prediction -...

Marc Marquez pulled his normal performance at Sachsenring with pole position by a narrow margin and a very controlled win. You may or may not have been surprised - Rob was, Kev wasn't. Thankfully, there were better stories behind him in Yamaha and Ducati's performances. We then hit up Dani's announcement, the potential arrival of Fabio Quartararo in the class, and bag on Simon again. Kev's point is mostly unchanged on that last one. We try to finish off with a bunch of listener...
