“Buckeye Talk Podcast is the best thing since sliced bread. I crave this podcast each week, and often find myself going back and listening to old podcasts while I wait for the next one to drop.
Cons:
- I wish football season was year round so there would be more Buckeye Talk Podcasts.
- Some episodes seem too short, and I wish they were longer.
- This podcast makes me wish EA Sports NCAA Football still existed so I could play with the new players because this podcast gets me so excited for the future of Ohio State.
- I wish I lived in Columbus so I could meet the Buckeye Talk crew, grab a bite to eat, or even possibly guest appear on an episode.
- I can’t listen to other Ohio State podcasts because Buckeye Talk has made me so knowledgeable about Ohio State that I know more about the team than the other podcasters do.
Pros:
- Bill has a nice podcast voice.
- Doug has extraordinary passion which makes this more enjoyable to listen to
- Tim’s optimistic insight gives me hope that the world isn’t actually about to go into World War 3 (Reality Check: Google North Korea, United States relations)
- Whole team gives unbiased analysis of the Ohio State football team and Big Ten conference as a whole. This has helped me be a more level headed, not-annoying Ohio State fan.
- Their inside access with the team has made me feel closer to team than I actually am.
Improvements that could be made:
- Second podcast a week
Overall, I am so thankful for this FREE podcast. The 1.5-2 hour podcast each weeks makes my two hour daily commute a lot more bearable. Highly recommend to any Ohio State fan looking to get more inside information and realistic opinions on the team.
