Gold mine for woodworking entrepreneurs
This podcast has been immensely helpful as an aspiring full-time woodworking furniture business owner. Ethan interviews a different furniture entrepreneur in each episode, running the gamut from those just getting started in their business to those who own thriving, mature, multi-location businesses. Each guest shares their story and Ethan probes to dig deeper into their challenges and wins, but also consistently makes sure to include a handful of questions in each interview that let the listener compare the approach each guest has taken. Ethan’s questions pull back the curtain on the furniture industry that I think so many fantasize about, letting us get a taste for the realities and challenges of the industry but I still generally leave more inspired and empowered than before… knowledge has that effect even if it’s knowledge that something might be harder than you thought or hoped. Anyways, super appreciative for this podcast and the service it’s providing. I’ve listened to every episode and my favorites multiple times over and would highly recommend to any current or aspiring wood furniture business owner.

I just found this podcast and wonder what took me so long. Hearing other’s back stories and business journeys are invaluable. Have you interviewed women makers yet ? Sure would love to hear from them also.
