Meet Joel Olivas, an interactive multimedia designer from El Paso, Texas. We discuss technology, music, and art, as well as themes surrounding the future of society and our experience growing up in the church!   2023 Bio:    "Joel Olivas is an interactive multimedia designer from El Paso, Texas. Joel’s passion for technology, music, and art has led him into a creative niche in the performing arts. Throughout 8 years of audio visual production experience, his visual work has been exhibited at festivals in Texas including; SOLUNA Festival, Oaktopia, SXSW, and Aurora Light & Sound Biennial. He is a recipient of the TACA New Works Grant with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Joel’s specializes in being the bridge between technology and the creative process, which has led him to work with organizations such as The Dallas Omni Hotel, The Bomb Factory, Gilley’s Dallas, Meow Wolf Grapevine, ARTECHOUSE, and Sweet Tooth Hotel, Visit Dallas, Visit Ft Worth, and the Ft Worth Botanic Garden. He holds a B.A.S. in Digital Signal Processing and Music from the University of North Texas."
