On April 18th and 19th of 2020, Gabriel Wortman carried out one of Canada's deadliest mass casualties. In just over thirteen hours, he went on a killing spree across several rural communities, murdering twenty-two people. The tragedy shocked the nation and questions were raised about how this dirtbag was able to successfully impersonate a police officer and rain down terror on the people of Nova Scotia.
