Tweet Being authentic in both your personal and business life seems to be a no-brainer but so many people get this wrong. It can be hard to follow your own path when other people have expectations of you. Today I am sharing how this affected my life and what I learned. WHY THIS MATTERS TO YOUR BUSINESS! Although my business flourished I know there were several decisions I would have made differently and therefore I may or may not have slowed the momentum I had at different times.  * When you are looking to start a business or grow a business you have to have a crystal clear vision of WHO you are. * If you are in the midst of planning a startup or are looking to grow or change directions you must make sure that you are following the only voice that matters, your own. * Allowing other people to shape your decisions is the opposite of being authentic.  * Take advice, yes? Listen? Yes but ultimately it’s your vision and your path to take. YOUR BUSINESS SHOULD BE REAL! Sounds simple right? IT’S NOT! So many people get this wrong, even me. HOW AUTHENTICITY CAN SHAPE YOUR BUSINESS * It enables people to relate to you AND your business * It elevates your brand above the competition * It helps set up as an influential voice * It gives substance to your business, services/products * It helps people understand what you do and how benefits them * It makes you a trustworthy company/brand * It encourages engagement and can turn audiences into your biggest promoters ACTIONABLE TO DO: download the pdf in the description box.
