“I am an engineering student from Germany who’s got to deal with "mathematics for engineers" courses now. I have a great book that explains math very well, but I was looking for an even faster way to get a hold of different math topics. This guy does a really good job in explaining. All professors and most of the literature explain math in strict mathematical terms, which is absolutely useless for most students. The course offered here in iTunes U by the Khan academy works well, though, since the tutors knows how to put math language in understandable terms.
The only problem that sometimes occurs is that he writes off screen in the video. In „Introduction to line integrals“, for example, the „dt“ behind the square root is off screen. Because the background is completely black it appears that there is no „dt“ being written at all, which might be confusing to some. So I suggest, to make it even better, the tutor should be more aware of the video screen size.
Other than that I gotta say, great course!”
