So Relatable, Nostalgic & Heartfelt
Man. This podcast is so relatable. I’m from Los Ángeles, from the westside, the Venice/Culver City area. I have so many stories living on the westside and they are memories I’ll always cherish because my area is changing so much. Just like Walter I’ve traveled the world. When asked by the locals where I was from. I wouldn’t say “I’m American” or “From California”, I’d say I’m from Los Ángeles. My home and my City. Please keep sharing these stories. It keeps the communities we used to to know alive. It breaks my heart that my neighborhood is changing. My mom is lucky to still be living in Culver City. Unfortunately, I’m not able to because it isn’t affordable so I live in Inglewood with my girlfriend but I’m lucky enough to still live in my city. ❤️

This podcast is so gripping. I’m white, middle class and live in Germany. Very far from LA. But your stories are touching and showing me a world that I knew very little about. Thank you for sharing it with us!
