We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. However, if one does intend to voyage further into the Crucible, there is no better vantage point than answering the Call of Discovery alongside Ed and Zach. Like many others, I initially came to Call of Discovery for Zach’s promise of ultra competitive deep dives into local meta trends, and discussions on hypergeometric probability theory that support whether I should hold or play my Curiosity in Worlds Collide sealed, in case my opponent pulls me off my third key with a legacy Dextre. But, I really return each week to vicariously experience just of a modicum of Ed’s personal excitement when he continually rediscovers just how “Keyforge” Keyforge can be. That, or because I’m stuck in the perpetual trance of his hypnotically melodic British accent that was born for podcast radio. Call of Discovery is a staple listen among anyone who considers themself a forger of keys.
