“Things were a little drawn out. Instead of 12 episodes you could’ve gotten the point across in about 9. At times I found myself zoning out but overall a good podcast. I worked at a long term care facility for children for 6 years and if you think these issues only happened “back then” you’re wrong. I ended up quitting after 6 years because I went to legal authorities over witnessed abuse but the cops were getting kick backs. I ended up going to the newspaper about my facility and couldn’t take it any longer. Sadly this exact thing continues to happen…just google the largest residential treatment company for youth and America and you’ll read articles that make you sick.”
