“I love Unexplained Encounters, and Tales from The Break Room, so I thought I’d give this new Darkness Prevails endeavor a go. I HATE the new voice. I am a trucker; I listen to podcasts while I drive. The average large truck noise level inside is 85 Db, the same as running a gas lawn mower. The new voice is too soft and lugubrious for me to hear it, even with bone-conduction sound. Interesting content, but what good is it if you can’t hear it (or if the low droning sound puts one to sleep)?”
