“Like many other listeners I like to go to sleep to these scary story podcasts, particularly ones about the woods or camping. When I first started listening to this one several months ago it was perfect: great stories, good narration, little to no ads. Recently however the podcast changed hands and now the narration is so quiet that I have to turn the volume up to hear the story, and the ads are so sudden and dramatically louder that it borders on violence. Wakes me up every time. For the life of me I will never understand why these producers can’t seem to mix the volume right. It’s so blatant and easily remedied it’s absurd. After being a loyal follower from episode one, I regretfully have to unsubscribe. To anyone else out there who falls asleep to these spooky podcasts: stay away from anything after Feb 2024 on here”
