Having studied and started her career as a structural engineer, Fergie talks about how losing motivation forced her to look inward, to change her career and progress as a management consultant with one of the world’s largest firms. She credits 'introspection' and 'taking responsibility' for how she got herself unstuck and regained her motivation. Fergie believes that if you can achieve an 80:20 view in your career, so that 80% of the time you enjoy what you do - then you’ve hit the jackpot.Our second chat in this episode is with Amanda Alicata from the Magic Café in South Melbourne, Victoria. After nearly a decade in university education, Amanda made the decision to get unstuck in an incredibly brave way.
