In this episode we are celebrating the career to date of Christopher Hope. Chris is the Brand Manager for Rolls Royce Motor Cars in Melbourne, Australia. It took Chris a little while to identify his calling in the car industry but from his earliest years he demonstrated curiosity, a fascination with cars and design and an ability to connect with people. With over thirty years in the industry behind him he continues to leverage his talent, intelligence, creativity and capability to configure beautiful bespoke motor cars and experiences for, as he says, friends of the Rolls Royce family. In our conversation we talk about his childhood, a family connection to Captain James Cook, learning from the mindsets and behaviours of his immigrant neighbours and his challenging academic performance at school. Through his stories, Chris shares numerous examples of how his curiosity and approach helped him to develop extraordinary connections with individuals from all walks of life leading many to comment that "There's something about you…" Occasionally his way of being led to job offers and exposure to guides and mentors. Countless people enriched his life, allowed him to be authentic and paved the way for him to now excel at what some call the pinnacle of the industry.
