“Love the pod, it keeps getting better with each episode. The album I’m suggesting you both listen to is Hospice by the Antlers. It tells the story of a caregiver and a patient with a terminal illness- it also serves as a metaphor for a toxic relationship (much like the one I have with the 6ers). The singer spent years post the release of this album trying to distance himself from it (it’s autobiographical). Years later after surgery to repair issues with his vocal chords he ends up having to sing all of these as part of his vocal therapy to heal.”
