A healing album about death…
Love the pod, it keeps getting better with each episode. The album I’m suggesting you both listen to is Hospice by the Antlers. It tells the story of a caregiver and a patient with a terminal illness- it also serves as a metaphor for a toxic relationship (much like the one I have with the 6ers). The singer spent years post the release of this album trying to distance himself from it (it’s autobiographical). Years later after surgery to repair issues with his vocal chords he ends up having to sing all of these as part of his vocal therapy to heal.

I really enjoyed the first episode. The discussion about the feeling you get by turning others on to music you love and getting turned on to something amazing for the first time really hit home for me. Looking forward to more episodes.
