Surprisingly Great Analysis
I’m a longtime listener of the RTRS 76ers pod, and decided to give this one a listen due to Spike’s involvement. Now, this pod is firmly in the rotation. It’s everything you’d want out of a music podcast: well-researched opinions, high level analysis, and a good sense of humor. Great for hearing about new music, or analysis on the classics. Spike and Mutlu play off of each other really well and bring a good variety of music and insight. Absolutely worth a listen. For a future pod, I’d love to hear your guys’ take on The Strokes’ 2003 album Room on Fire. I know Spike has said before that he isn’t crazy about the band, and everyone has heard the band’s debut, Is This It. I find Room on Fire to be a more complete and multi-dimensional album, compared with the band’s debut. I’d really look forward to hearing Spike trash the overly-compressed drums or edgy vocals on my favorite record.

Loving your pod! Have tuned into them all. Love the dichotomy of your musical tastes, and your descriptions. Would be great to hear what you think about this one.
