Excellent podcast
Love this pairing of Mutlu Mutlu the musickologicalist and Spike who listens to a lot of metal. Most appreciate the kind of openness in music listening that they model, which is infectious and has made me open up more to music I’d typically dismiss. Album pick: Deerhoof’s “Friend Opportunity” Also, if Spike needs more better-than-Springsteen, Springsteen bands, the Constantines check a lot of boxes.

Loving your pod! Have tuned into them all. Love the dichotomy of your musical tastes, and your descriptions. Would be great to hear what you think about this one.
