Introduction 00:00 – 00:25 David Coulthard, former Formula 1 driver with McLaren gets to talk to Formula 1 star Max Verstappen of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and his father, former Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen.   Chapter 1: A lot of drivers in modern Formula 1 wouldn't cut it in my time. 00:25 – 11:45 David asks about the fitness compared to the days of Jos Verstappen. They also touch base on DRS and overtaking according to Max and Jos. Max clearly wants a V10, as it would be nice because more noise is always a plus he says.   Chapter 2: Formula 1 should be about pushing the limits in every aspect. 11:45 – 14:23  Max prefers to always go flat out and not save fuel or tyres whatsoever, Jos and David Coulthard agree with Max in this part. They also talk briefly on Jos his special Orange helmet for Canada 2000.   Chapter 3: Drivers now are physically fitter than ever as they have personal trainers and nutritionist helping them every day. 14:23 – 17:20 The three gentlemen talk about height, weight and fitness of a Formula 1 driver compared to what it used to be and what is needed right now in a Formula 1 car.   Chapter 4: The drivers these days don’t think for themselves but are hand puppets for the team.   17:20 – 25:05 The eras have changed, drivers used to be more outspoken than these days says David and Jos. No one is using Max as a hand puppet but sometimes he does say to himself to be a bit quiet to the team, Red Bull Racing, Max shares. David Coulthard: Formula 1 does not have a blame culture but a responsibility culture. Jos: emotions from drivers and teams that is what it’s really about. Drivers need to speak what they think. David Coulthard: during my McLaren time I was always a bit in fear they dropped me if I said what I want. Jos agrees and he shut up quite often to not get sacked. Max: I don’t like, or need to be, looking at the data, I just feel what is going on with the car. Jos: They should limit the amount of data. It should all be about the feeling of the driver which determines which driver is better and faster.   Chapter 5: The simulators in the factories are so good, you don’t need three practice sessions on Formula 1 weekends.   25:05 – 36:55 Jos gets sick on a simulator. He does now have 2 simulators at his home and tries to beat Max in a GT-car. A sim driver has a very hard time become an actual racing driver according to Max. Never say never but it needs a lot of time. Jos still wants to beat Max in racing, he is that competitive. Max recommends to never use ABS.   Chapter 6: The average journalist at the track now does not have a clue about Formula 1. 36:55 – 46:50 Jos says most journalists have no clue what they are talking about and tells what he does if a journalist is unfair about Max. David Coulthard talks about his own son who is in racing and how he educates him and the time he made him cry. Jos also talks on a few experiences of Max his childhood and how tough he was on Max. Jos and Max also talk about what they would change in media these days and who their favourite interviewer is.   Chapter 7: Young drivers get promoted to Formula 1 too fast right now. 46:50 – 49:03 Max feels like young guys are now much better prepared into a season. Jos also talks about his own start in Formula 1. Max also shares his thoughts about making mistakes in Formula 1.   Chapter 8: You can’t compare Michael Schumacher (Ferrari) to Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) as greatest driver ever.  49:03 – 55:50 Max Verstappen says what he feels about Lewis Hamilton as one of the greatest ever.
