Description
Being in the Healthcare Industry is stressful. The amount of pressure they face daily is tremendous, and this often leads to burnouts and the Covid Pandemic just makes it even more difficult. We need to take care of our healthcare workers, for them to be able to take care of us. That is where a nonprofit organization - Sufi Psychology Association, comes in. Sufi Psychology Association President Dr. Saloumeh Bozorgzadeh, founded Caring for Our Caregivers to look after the mental wellness of our caregivers. Together with Tamarkoz®, they have distributed tablets, loaded with Tamarkoz meditation guide videos and relaxing activities, to help our frontline workers cope with the Covid Crisis in their workplace. Listen as Shane and Dr. Saloumeh discusses the reality that our healthcare workers face in the midst of this pandemic, and how we can all help support them.
