Phenomenally and Respectfully Done
This podcast is absolutely phenomenal! The way B.T. is slowly pulling back the veil on this morbidly fascinating chapter of Atlanta’s history is gripping and intense. The smoky and soothing quality of his voice, tinged just slightly with the comforting lilt of a Southern accent makes for easy listening. The music and sound effects are both well-produced and masterfully utilized throughout. As a black listener, I’m struck by the thoughtfulness with which he approaches taking this on. I appreciate his authentic and very self-aware acknowledgement of the fact that, as a white male, he may not be seen as the right steward of certain aspects of this story by some. I think that in respecting that point of view, he shows an even deeper understanding of just how big a role the race factor played in the story he’s telling. Five stars and worth a listen. Make sure that you do so in chronological order!

B.T. is a gifted storyteller. He pays great respect to all characters & perhaps even more so, the listener. As someone born & raised in Atlanta for most of my 50 years, i'm finding this true crime podcast to be incredibly interesting & very well done! Outstanding!!Read full review »
