Compassionate treatment of disturbing crime
I was slow to get into the true crime genre which dominates podcast charts. Too often, the victims are forgotten and the criminals are sensationalized. What BT Hartman is doing with Catlick is refreshingly different. He doesn’t skirt around the violence in the story, but his storytelling conveys compassion and outrage for the loss of life. He brings early 1900s Atlanta to life, and his modern, progressive narration lands the tone perfectly. Excellent production, exceptional podcast.

So far I’m loving this historical thriller of Atlanta! I’m a total true crime junkie and I’m all in for this one too!
