“The backstory seemed intriguing at first, but it’s not moving along as well as I’d hoped. The first episode should have been more about the storyline and less about himself. I really want to like it, want to hear him delve into more of the history of the culture at that time, the lives of the victims, but I’m completely pulled out of the story by the typewriter and hokey news guy voice when reading old articles. And how many times do we need to hear him say his own name per episode?”
