TY Janie Haddad Tompkins
Janie recommended this pod (on her pod) and it has been a life changer. I am a feminist and I always believe women but I have a new appreciation for every woman in the world after just listening to a mere dozen episodes. I see myself in so many of these stories but I really thought it was just me and my fault. It seems that most of us are enduring terrible things that we think only happen to us individually but are happening to women on a much larger scale. I have so much respect and admiration for the women sharing their truth in these books. We (not famous) women also need to share our stories with our sisters, friends, daughters, nieces and the trustworthy men in our lives to shine a light on these issues and to stop patriarchal abuse. If enough people listen this podcast it might just be the tipping point for change
