“Considering she is a writer having an ear and eye for language, and how this podcast is about women writers getting their fair shake. I was saddened and just disgusted when time and time again she says, “guys” “com’on guys”, “listen guys”, “you know what guys!” This is the incestuous way patriarchy filters in. She could say, “Hey pods”, Hey Listeners”, “Hey readers”, “Hey Instas” any sort of non patriarchal words. Really I thought she’d be aware of how this affects all of us not moving forward.”
