This is a Word From God, a daily devotional podcast presented by the Center for Christian Leadership. Today our Word is from Psalms 136:5 (NLT) Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully. His faithful love endures forever.
The ancient Hebrew Lexicon tells us Heavens= Breath: The breath of a man is character, what makes one what he is. The name of an individual is more than an identifier but descriptive of his character or breath.
This verse shows us that we can trust in the God who made the heavens to be faithful in all of His promises, just like He was to Abraham!
