#CGUAlumni: Ashleigh Brilliant
Listen now
Description
Ashleigh Brilliant ranks alongside Mark Twain as one of the most prolific and popular writers of epigrams in the history of American letters. Brilliant began distributing short witticisms on colorful postcards when he lived in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco in the 1960s. A longtime resident of Santa Barbara, Brilliant sat down with us to discuss his work and his time studying education at Claremont Graduate University in the 1950s. He even sang a few tunes from his own hippie-scene parody collection: "The Haight Ashbury Songbook". For more Ashleigh Brilliant visit: https://www.ashleighbrilliant.com
