“I found this podcast because of Justin Murphy’s previous work, where he conducted really good interviews with prominent leftists I followed. However, this has become my favorite of all of his stuff on YouTube and other platforms, because of the great show chemistry he and his cohost have in their conversations.
While Justin’s approach to religion tends to be very dramatic and imaginative (in good ways), Maron is down-to-earth and does an excellent job breaking down very complex ideas into terms regular people can understand. These opposite approaches to theology make for fascinating exchanges that secular people can enjoy just as much as listeners who are already religious. I hope “Chat for God” sticks around for a long time, as I intend to be a regular listener.”
