Great Podcast For Religious AND Secular Listeners
I found this podcast because of Justin Murphy’s previous work, where he conducted really good interviews with prominent leftists I followed. However, this has become my favorite of all of his stuff on YouTube and other platforms, because of the great show chemistry he and his cohost have in their conversations. While Justin’s approach to religion tends to be very dramatic and imaginative (in good ways), Maron is down-to-earth and does an excellent job breaking down very complex ideas into terms regular people can understand. These opposite approaches to theology make for fascinating exchanges that secular people can enjoy just as much as listeners who are already religious. I hope “Chat for God” sticks around for a long time, as I intend to be a regular listener.

Love the podcast. A little odd, though, that the new cohost doesn’t necessarily seem to believe that Jesus rose from the dead.

Already a huge fan of this podcast. Goes out of its way to be honest with themselves & transparent. Love the energy in it, and I certainly hope it lasts for years to come.

Sincere, funny, thought-provoking, inspiring. Feels great to hear two people talk about god in a way that’s accesible to me and up-lifting. Thank you, keep it coming!
