Just what the doctor ordered
Despite the incoherent structure, the illogical ramblings and unexpected interruptions, there is something wholly endearing about two blokes shooting the breeze about the day’s happenings. Most podcasts have a formula, a niche or at least some sort of interesting play on words that catches the listener’s attention. Chatabix lacks all of the above and yet it is truly brilliant, as it provides the mundane nothingness of random conversation, that in this tough time we have all truly craved. Once upon a time conversations such as these were a gentle reminder that everyone shares in the experiences of everyday life, such as ringing the opticians, putting up some decking or reminiscing about THAT boat party where I dressed up in drag for the first time. Truthfully I haven’t been able to see or speak to my friends or family in person for a long time due to working abroad, where we are still in a lockdown. This can be quite lonely and isolating at times. I feel I have two new friends, who I can now Chatabix with every morning. 5⭐️

Two funny men chatting in the morning. That’s what I expected and that’s what I got. Love it. Couldn’t be happier xx
