Hackneyed
I cringe so many times when I listen to this podcast. The use of jargon is over-the-top and frequently meaningless. Take the tag line “ordinary people who do extraordinary things.” I don’t think astronauts and olympians are ordinary people—they have unique gifts, talents, abilities to discipline themselves and focus that are fair from ordinary. The fawning style of the interviews seemingly designed to say “celebrities, they’re just like us” is so contrived and tired.
