Empowering Women!
I love listening to the way Dene and Vanessa process the world around them. It’s such a pleasure to hear them laugh and talk together. I feel like I’m sitting at a table with them. They are warm and genuine. Their genuine connection to one another is incredibly inviting—my best friend and I often send episodes back and forth to each other because each episode is it’s own little homage to friendship. They’re dichotomy also makes for great conversations, that sometimes even leaves them questioning their own takes. As the mother of a special needs toddler I take great comfort in their motherhood anecdotes and the way they laugh about how challenging that phase of life is. From this podcast I’ve been continually reminded to put my own mask on before helping others, to let go of control, focus on community, and show-up for my daughter without losing my identity to motherhood. This podcast has been a gateway to many epiphanies about identity and the role of co-dependency in my relationships. I can’t thank you enough for helping me on my healing journey!! <3

The audio is so poor for this podcast. It sounds like this has been an issue for awhile. Goes up and down constantly, sometimes sounds like they have moved away from microphone.
