These episodes are bonus conversations with some of our favourite Aussie athletes - and this one is particularly special! Marlee and Keely sat down with GWS Giants and Aussie Diamond netball superstar, the one and only: Jamie-Lee Price! Not only is she one of the toughest and most exciting mid-courters in the Suncorp Super Netball and on the international stage, but she’s also one of our oldest friends.  JLP - as she’s also known - comes from a strong line of professional athletes, that put her on a sporting path from an early age. Her dad is former NRL star Steve Price, who represented QLD and Australia in his career and played at the New Zealand Warriors and the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, which is where us Silva’s met the Prices. As Steven played with our dad Rod - so we’ve known Jamie and her family since we were babies! Over the years, it’s been such a pleasure watching JLP grow into the incredible sportswoman she is and even though it’s one we personally knew before, we loved hearing the details of her journey so far in this conversation - and particularly some of the frustration that comes with the struggle netball still has in fighting for mainstream media coverage! We know you’re going to love this chat, it’s full of laughs and amazing insight - and we can’t thank Jamie enough for making the time to come on and share!
