A little teacher training, a little teacher reporting...
As a high school teacher, several of these courses were immediately irrelevant. Some of the lectures appeared to be concluding dissertations on projects undertaken, providing more closure and publicity for the speakers rather than providing useful information, thus were irrelevant as well. There were some lectures which provided constructs for which existing teachers, like myself, could apply to current classrooms with challenging behaviours or to current topics which could use enhancement to increase student engagement and maximise educational efficacy. This would rate four stars for Primary teachers and individuals ready for their first assignment - much better therapy than watching Dead Poets Society! Thanks, Yale!
