“I sat on the fence about this podcast, until last week's episode which finished with Alek promoting her new book.
I mean aside from this turning the podcast into the 'Aleks Krotoski show', it was such a bizarrely scripted ramble about 'stuff' on the internet. Just painful to listen to. It sounded like a freshman's first philosophy essay rather than the insightful journalism you expect from the Guardian. You guys really dropped the ball.
I think a shake-up is definitely needed as the podcast is becoming incredibly stale, very boring and just, well, annoying.”
