A sense of community in many ways
I have listened to this podcast for a while now and have always enjoyed it, but hit especially close to home with the Mak the Menace episode. The question from a listener about having chronic fatigue and migraines made me do a double take. It’s exactly the symptoms I’ve struggled with for 5 years of my life. It’s felt extremely isolating and I related to many of the problems this listener outlined. I’m going through a pretty bad flare up right now and it meant more than words can say to have this be addressed on the podcast. It gives me hope and confidence that I can be more open with people in my life about what I go through. This podcast is amazing, funny, genuine, and kind; I would recommend it to any and every queer person I know.
