The Galapagos Islands

Description
This week join Chris on location aboard the Yacht Isabela II, afloat in the Pacific Ocean in one of the most amazing, most unique places anywhere on our planet. The Galapagos Islands are the most famous wildlife-watching destination in the world and were the inspiration for Darwin’s ground-breaking theory of natural selection. It’s almost impossible to exaggerate the sheer spectacle of Nature’s evolutionary kaleidoscope. Just the stunning geology alone makes these islands amazing; the mix of volcanoes, stark lava formations, cactus forests, lush green highlands, turquoise bays and idyllic tropical beaches. But each landing, on each island, also provides a powerful and heartwarming interaction with strange, fearless and wonderful creatures.
