Description
This week The Travel Show is on the road in the mountains of Virginia to experience Shenandoah National Park. Chris discovers a landscape of magnificent vistas cloaked in the first stirrings of fall colours. Shenandoah National Park lies astride a beautiful section of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Skyline Drive is a 200km road that winds along the crest of the mountains through the length of the Park. It provides vistas of the spectacular landscape to east and west and is truly one of the most beautiful road trips in America. The park holds nearly a thousand kilometers of trails, including nearly 200kms of the Appalachian Trail. Chris will also explore the town of Luray at the Northern end of the Park and Charlottesville to the South.
