Listen now
Description
In the 1800's southern pastors used Paul's writings to support the practice of slavery. Today we wonder how Paul's writings could be so twisted to endorse slavery! Whether it be women's ordination, head covering, or the silence of women during church it seems that Paul's writings have been at the center of many theological controversies in the last 2,000 years of Christian history. How do we go about the task of interpreting Paul's letters today? Listen as Pastor David shares a simple study on hermeneutics and Paul's writings.
