Drug toxicity is a leading cause of death in Canada and around the world. Over the course of three episodes, we will address three interrelated topics related to the toxic drug crisis. This second episode will focus on how safe supply can help to combat the toxic drug Crisis. From January to September of 2022, fentanyl was involved in more than 81% of opioid toxicity deaths. Safer supply has the potential to mitigate the increasingly unpredictable state of street drugs.
