Grand.Colossal.Epic.
I highly recommend this show to any newcomer or veteran in film music a.k.a. Original Motion Picture Score. The show features new film music being released throughout the year accompanied with interesting background information about the composer and film. But not only that. The show also offers a wide range of film music good old film music as well as modern film music in various show tributes and spotlights. It gets really interesting, for me, when Erik, you host, an IFMCA member (International Film Music Critics Association), plays on his show officially unavailable film music which he gets as promotional albums from the composers themselves. This way we are introduced to really lovely pieces of film music otherwise probably never seen or heard of ever again. What I personally love is the video game music part. Being a video game player for over two decades this is the highlight of the show for me. Why? Because today’s video game music is not just a pc speaker four tone or sometime (really impressive) midi-based music anymore, but (sometimes) bombastic orchestral mayhem (e.g. Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 1+2 by Oscar Araujo) composed by Hollywood film music composers such as Brian Tyler, Hans Zimmer or Harry Gregson-Williams. To sum up the show in three words: Grand, Colossal & Epic.

I just finished listening to Waterworld (also a favorite) and wow, what great depth and insight on the music, the movie and the composer. Will definitely be listening to more.
