Mehdi Jahan is a writer/director of Assamese origin who began as a cinematographer for a PSBT produced documentary 'The F Word'. He has also written and directed a short film 'Jyoti and Joymoti' and taught Film Studies/Film Appreciation at the Assam Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research.
