“Was excited to learn that David Plotz was working to launch this new local news series. Also that one of the first locations would be in my native Chicago.
How disappointing to listen this past week. While the small bits of local news are welcome, the longer stories don’t live up to expectations. The host’s style is too casual and sometimes annoying. His style would be welcome on a late night music program. Can we see more personal distancing from the interviewer? Can we see more professionalism?
I’m hopeful that this podcast will improve in quality as it is sorely needed. I’ll stick with it for now.”
