Homily on Divine Mercy
Listen now
Description
Father Mattingly, Director of City on a Hill, is also the associate pastor at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Kansas City, MO. In an effort to tap into the City on a Hill pillar of 'formation' we share his Sunday homilies. On the week of the memorial of St. Faustina, Fr. Mattingly speaks about the life of the saint and the Lord's intention for the message of Divine Mercy. He shares what we can learn from St. Faustina, specifically her firm resolve to become a saint, specific resolutions she made in order to grow toward sainthood, and her fulfillment of her personal mission from God – spreading and embodying the message of His Divine Mercy. This episode features his homily from 10/10/21, and is based on the Mass readings for the memorial of St. Faustina at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Kansas City, Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish.
