Very misleading title
This podcast tried to establish a narrative about density, liveability, and climate change. They featured interviews with urban planning experts and shared interesting history of some of our cities. They spend about 29 minutes discussing these topics. Right at the end, they bring in an expert stating that the 15 minute city is a European concept based on colonial values and implementing this change would further entrench the racism built into our cities. The “expert” then goes on to state that the only way to build a non-racist city is to let the people decide. The host then makes his conclusion statement agreeing with the expert. Basically, they have put identity politics ahead of all the issues they tried to establish during the whole narrative. I have no idea what this podcast is about and am very skeptical about listening to another episode.

The topic was great and the guests were interesting. I’m glad the later episodes were more serious and cut the dad jokes.
