Deesha Dyer has undoubtedly charted her own path throughout her career. Formerly the White House social secretary for the Obama administration, Deesha got her start by taking a leap of faith and applying to the White House internship program in 2009. Now, she’s an award-winning strategist, on-the-ground community organizer, and executive operations expert, and is the founder and CEO of the social impact agency Hook & Fasten. In her new book Undiplomatic: How My Attitude Created the Best Kind of Trouble, Deesha shares candid stories from her career thus far and peels back the curtain on imposter syndrome.
