This week, we are looking at the origin of personality and the 'me' that thinks it has a personality. We can define personality as the tendencies, traits and preferences, the ways of being and behaving that are the result of both nature and nurture. They're our genetic inheritance and they are how those genes are activated as a result of the individual experience.  So our personality arises and develops over time, but can it fundamentally change? And is our personality really ‘our fault’?
