Two notes
I wish you would put the story teaser/what it is about in the episode description of each episode—I’m not interested in 4 paragraphs about the author’s life, but that’s what we get when we try and read it. Basically copy and pasted from Wikipedia—what’s the point? I prefer to know if an episode’s subject matter sounds intriguing to me before I listen to it, and that information is not presented to us. Also, I’m not a fan of the rambling nonsequitors at the end that add zero insight about the work—alarmingly at times these ramblings take up half the episode length. I’ve stopped listening as frequently because of these two things mentioned.

More reviews of Classic Ghost Stories
An excellent podcast, definitely the best I’ve come across in a long time. Well chosen classic stories, well read with a little biographical information thrown in.

Excellent podcast. Necessary relief from my normal diet of political podcasts, which have become rather depressing. Gripping selection of stories, beautifully told, with the notes after each a welcome antidote to the deliciously chilling tales. Tony’s obvious humanity and humour shine through.

Love this podcast - from lockdown in Sydney, Aus! and Tony I really appreciate your rambly bits at the end of episodes! Would you consider doing any of Brian Evenson’s or Celia Fremlin’s short horror stories?
