Listen now
Description
Haiti is facing a deep security, political and humanitarian crisis. The country is particularly vulnerable to natural disasters exacerbated by both climate change and environmental degradation. The lack of resilience affects livelihoods and leads to internal displacement which in turn fuels crime and unrest, leading to a deteriorating humanitarian situation. In this episode, we adiscuss the linkages between climate, peace, and security in Haiti and how to integrate climate change adaptation and environmental protection with peacebuilding measures. Join us for this insightful conversation with Paule Juneau (UNEP Haiti), Beatrice Mosello (adelphi) and Jessica Hsu (Haiti-based researcher & anthropologist).  Discover the "Roots for Peace" report: adelph.it/WRHaiti
