“I think this podcast has tons to offer not only for investors but for anyone interested in making wise life decisions more generally. This isn’t the podcast for you if you want hot stock tips or any insight on what stocks/funds are worth buying today. Instead (and far more interestingly, in my opinion), the host’s goal is to share the wisdom of investors who have achieved consistent success, namely Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger, and to understand as best we can how they make decisions so we can (hopefully!) upgrade our own decision-making infrastructure in beneficial ways.
A lot of podcasts share opinions about specific stocks or sectors that they deem worthy of investment. This podcast sometimes critiques current trends, especially when they seem to violate the wisdom successful long-term investors, but is more geared towards teaching listeners how to generate insight for ourselves and evaluate investment opportunities rationally, irrespective of trendiness and glamour.”
